" At Ikal del Mar Villa Resort and Spa at Playa Xcalacoco in the Riviera Maya, a rainy day is means for celebration: their newest treatment, the Rain Massage, uses raindrops to offer lucky guests a deeply relaxing experience. The 50-minute treatment begins with a walk into the jungle that surrounds the resort, where a special massage table awaits. Clad in a bathing suit, the client lies down and has warm, herbal-scented towels placed on the feet and neck. Next, rainwater and healing herbs are massaged in a circular pattern all over the body. Afterwards, an herbal tea is poured over the shoulders and the torso. Of course, the Rain Massage is best performed during the rainy month of July through October, but should the Sun God decide to take over, regular water is used."
