The last 30 minutes to Sierra Lago are rocky and rough. It´s one of those roads that makes you wonder where you´ll end up...until you get there! Then you understand that the only way to preserve such a pristine place is to make it a bit difficult to arrive in the first place. Safe parking is available in Mascota if you´d prefer to have the hotel pick you up and drive you around the mountain.

During a delectable three course lunch on the main terrace, guests enjoy an astounding entertainment program that features exquisitely trained Spanish horses and champion Charros (cowboys) who perform charming, old style dances set to a variety of Latin melodies.
Directions:
From Puerto Vallarta drive past the airport and turn off at Las Juntas. You´ll pass Las Palmas, La Estancia and Mascota. Once in the town of Mascota there are several signs for the hotel. You´ll come to a Y at one point and you must continue to the left side.
Travel time is approximately 2 hours minutes from Vallarta to Mascota. Another 30 minutes takes you up and around the mountain to the hotel.
