Luxurious Casa Del Mar designated as first Mexico Boutique Hotel on the Baja
Peninsula
Puerto Vallarta, MexicoMexico Boutique Hotels is pleased to designate
Casa
del Mar in Los Cabos as its first hotel member in Baja California Sur,
Mexico. Director General, John Youden, commented, "Casa Del Mar offers a
particularly privileged location combined with distinctive boutique hotel characteristics
that will heighten the vacation experience of anyone considering a visit to the
Baja." The intimate 56-room luxury hotel is located at the geographic point
where the Sea of Cortés gives way to the Pacific Ocean at the tip of the
Baja Peninsula, just 25 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport, and equidistant
between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
Casa del Mar is representative of the individual style and characteristics that
distinguish each Mexico Boutique Hotel and has been defined as
luxurious,
detailed and
spaciousa set of "key words" assigned
by MBH to define the vacation experience one can expect at each hotel. It is built
in a hacienda style around a patio with a central fountain and is surrounded by
manicured gardens. All rooms and suites have been constructed to permit ocean
views from every room, to the extent that many even have views from the shower
or Jacuzzi. Rooms are appointed with rattan and wrought iron furnishings, original
artwork and colourful accents.
The hotel is arranged as a private oasis within a larger residential development,
affording guests complete privacy, intimacy and exclusivity while delivering the
amenities of a large resort. Four pools, four tennis courts, a paddle tennis court
and an exercise facility are complemented by the full-service Ixchel Spa which
offers a comprehensive menu of treatments. While children are welcome at the hotel,
there is an adults-only beach club at the guests' disposition.
For golf enthusiasts, Casa del Mar is adjacent to two 18-hole courses: Cabo Real
Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., and El Dorado, a Jack Nicklaus
signature course. Five other courses are nearby. Additional activities available
include horseback riding, ATV tours, boating, and sport fishing. Thanks to its
appealing selection of services for both men and women, the hotel attracts couples
with an active lifestyle who appreciate blending relaxation and pampering with
recreational activities.
Guests can enjoy the contrasting experiences of tranquil San Jose del Cabo, a
typical
pueblo with local families tending to their restaurants and handicraft
tiendas, and active Cabo San Lucas which has the modern amenities of a cruise
ship terminal, marina, nightlife spots and a shopping mall.
Rates range from US $230.00 to $520.00 plus taxes depending on season and room
type. A variety of golf, spa and romance packages is available. Transfers from
Cabo San Lucas airport can be pre-arranged by Mexico Boutique Hotels.
