Mexico Boutique Hotels announces new director
Puerto Vallarta, MexicoMexico Boutique Hotels director general, John Youden,
is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvie Laitre as director. Youden stated,
"Ms. Laitre's background demonstrates her intense commitment to customer
service and quality control which will benefit every one of our hotel members
and, ultimately, our guests." Mexico Boutique Hotels is the only company
of its kind exclusively dedicated to offering boutique-category lodging in over
20 destinations throughout the Mexican Republic from the colonial heartland to
hidden beaches. One of the cornerstone criteria for hotels to be designated is

Laitre, originally from Montreal, Canada, has lived and worked in Mexico for over
eight years. Throughout this time, she has gathered considerable experience in
the hotel and services industries serving as Quality Services Coordinator for
Decameron Resorts, Quality Services Auditor and Sports and Entertainment consultant
for Solare Resort Vallarta Sunset Bay, Guest Services Manager for Vista Club Playa
de Oro. Her experience further includes business development, customer services
management, communications advisor and special projects assisant for various private
and governmental agencies in Canada. Laitre has a degree in communications and
a degree in tourism from the University of Ottawa (Canada) and is well-equipped
to serve Mexico Boutique Hotels in its next phase of development and foster both
member hotel and customer relations.
